How is your food made?
Unlike the squeezy pouches and glass jars you buy at supermarkets, we don’t use high-temperature treatments or preservatives to extend shelf life as these negatively impact nutritional value. Our food looks and tastes like real food you could cook at home – because that’s exactly what it is. Our meals are gently steamed and then quickly snap frozen to to lock in the goodness from our beautiful, organic Australian produce. With our transparent windows, you can see and feel every ingredient for peace of mind.
Where is your food made?
All our meals are prepared, cooked and packed locally in Melbourne by our own team.
Are all your ingredients from Australia?
Using Australian ingredients in our meals is of utmost importance to us. Rest assured we take great care curating our ingredients to ensure a premium end product.
Are all your meals organic?
Yes, all our products are certified organic and our commercial kitchen only produces certified organic products to ensure absolute integrity.
What does certified organic mean?
Organic ingredients are grown without the use of synthetic pesticides or synthetic fertilisers, genetically modified organisms, or ionizing radiation. Organic meat, poultry, eggs, and dairy products come from animals that are given no antibiotics or growth hormones. All our products are certified organic by Australian Certified Organic (ACO), Australia’s largest certifier for organic and biodynamic produce. Certification ensures compliance with national production standards and allows trace back of all products to their origin.
How do I ensure your product is safe for consumption?
Always refer to the use by date and discard products that are past their use by date. If thawed, you must use the product straight away or discard, following the packet guidelines. We recommend referring to the Food Standards Australia New Zealand as a guide. Our transparent windows allow you to see the product for peace of mind.
Does your packaging contain BPA? Is it safe?
Our packaging is BPA and Phthalate free and has been approved by the USFDA.
Can I reheat the meals in their packaging?
Our pouches are not designed for cooking or preparing in, so we advise taking the product out of its packaging before reheating.
Storage and Preparation
How long can I keep the products for?
We snap freeze our products, minimising time in open temperatures to prevent bacterial growth. If kept frozen, the use by date of our products is approximately 1 year. We do not add any preservatives or use ultra-high temperature processing to extend shelf life. Our meals are simply cooked, then immediately frozen. Simply Goodness is real food, prepared and stored the old-fashioned way for optimum nutrition. Please always refer to the use by date.
How to prepare
How do I prepare your meals?
Remove contents from packaging. Take frozen product and cook over a medium heat for 3-5 minutes or cook in the microwave for 2-4 minutes, until heated through. Always test the temperature before serving to children. Any uneaten portions need to be discarded. Each packet has instructions on preparing the meals.

How to purchase
How can I purchase your products?
For ultimate convenience, we provide a few options including:

- Online with Monday to Friday delivery

What are your opening hours?
Due the the COVID-19 pandemic we are currently only accepting orders online for delivery or click and collect. If you place a click and collect order, we will contact you to arrange a time to collect your order from our Camberwell store. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.
When and where do you deliver?
We deliver anywhere in metro Melbourne Monday to Friday, and do not restrict specific regions to a particular day of the week. Please contact us to organise regional delivery.
Do you have a minimum order value for delivery?
No, there is no minimum order value.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery to metro areas is $15.00. Delivery can also be arranged to regional areas by request – please contact us.
How are your products delivered?
Our meals are delivered via PrimeSafe certified couriers using refrigerated trucks to ensure the safety of your food.
Can I track my order?
You will get a confirmation email on the day of delivery. Currently, real-time tracking is unavailable, but we’re working on it.
How long will it take for my order to be delivered?
Orders are generally processed and delivered within 2-3 business days. You can select your preferred delivery day at checkout, taking this into consideration. As a rule, orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday will be delivered two business days later. Orders placed over the weekend will be delivered from Wednesday onward. Please note we also do not deliver on public holidays.
What if I’m not home when my order gets delivered?
Our deliveries come in insulated boxes with freeze gel packs to keep them cool, so no need to worry about organising pre-arranged storage. If you’re not home, we’ll leave your order safely by your door. If left for an extended period of time, please check your products to ensure they’re still frozen solid. If not, products must be disposed.
What do I do if my product is faulty?
We comply with the ACCC and do our very best to avoid any faults or issues. If you are unhappy with something, please contact us and we’ll do our best to resolve it. Please also see our Terms and Conditions.
What happens if there is a product recall?
In the unlikely event of a product recall:
- The relevant governing body will be notified
- We will provide information on our website and / or social media
- Where we have contact details, we will contact those potentially impacted by a recall
